Ben St. Clair grew up in Corning, NY where he marched throughout high school on bass drum and snare drum (2015-2019) and also began marching DCA with the White Sabers Drum and Bugle Corps in 2016. Ben started at Sabers on bass 5 and from 2018-2022 marched snare drum. During the 2021 indoor season Ben marched snare at Matrix Open, and then marched snare at Cap City World in 2023 for his age out season.

Ben has been teaching at the Corning Painted Post High School since he graduated from there in 2019 and has been the snare instructor at White Sabers for the 2023 and 2024 seasons and then became the battery coordinator for the 2025 season. Ben returned to Cap City as a snare tech in 2025 and can’t wait to continue teaching there for the upcoming 2026 season.
