Billy is from Mars, Pennsylvania, where he graduated from Mars Area High School in 2021. Through his high school career, he participated in the Mars Area Marching Band (2016-2020) and their indoor percussion group, Mars Indoor Percussion (2017-2021). He then continued his marching career with the University of Akron Drumline (2021-2022). Alongside this, Billy has marched with Rogues Hollow Regiment (2022 - 2024), competing in DCA and DCI All-Age competitions. His indoor percussion experience includes Cap City 2 (2023, 2025-2026), most recently winning a bronze medal at WGI Percussion Independent Open Class finals in 2026.

Billy started his teaching endeavors at Cloverleaf High School (2022-2024), and their indoor percussion group, Cloverleaf Indoor Percussion (2023-2025), serving as assistant percussion director and battery arranger in 2024 and 2025. He now resides teaching at his alumnus, Mars Area High School, for both their marching band and indoor percussion ensembles (2025-2026), and Rogues Hollow Regiment (2026).

After graduating from the University of Akron with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design, Billy now works at Phantom Fireworks as a Graphic Designer for both their packaging and advertising teams. He is super excited to get to work for this upcoming season!
