Calvin is an educator, clinician, and audio engineer from Elmhurst, IL. In 2017 and 2018, he performed with Cavaliers Indoor Percussion as a front ensemble member. In 2019, he marched snare with Crystal Lake Thunder.

With the Northern Illinois University Percussion Ensemble, Calvin was a performing artist at the 2018 Percussive Arts Society International Convention. In 2022, he graduated NIU with a Bachelor’s in Music Education.

As an audio engineer, he toured the 2025 DCI Season with Madison Scouts, and served the 2023 & 2024 seasons with Colt Cadets as Front Ensemble Coordinator & Audio Engineer.

Calvin currently teaches elementary general music in IL. He also teaches private percussion lessons and instructs several marching percussion programs throughout the northwest suburbs of Chicago, IL.

Calvin currently serves Lemont HS as director of percussion, and director of Minooka HS Indoor Percussion.
