Danielle is exhilarated to join the Cap City family in the 2027 season! Her performance career began in Kentucky with the Lafayette HS Colorguard. She studied movement throughout her time at Eastern Kentucky University while receiving her degree in Elementary Education. Danielle performed with EKU’s Dance Theatre, Expressions Winterguard, Bluecoats Drum & Bugle Corps, Lexis Winterguard, Zydeco Colorguard, Juxtaposition Winterguard, and The Pride of Cincinnati Dance Ensemble.

Danielle spent over a decade educating DCI/DCA students- including Colts, Crossmen, Troopers, Cincinnati Tradition, and most recently the 2021-2023 Cadets. She prioritizes a growth mindset, emphasizes that everyone is a dancer, and helps to shape ALL performers into loving the art of movement! 

Danielle’s indoor percussion career began with ConneXus (2017, 2018, 2022), where she aided in show design, choreography, and movement training. In addition to developing the foundation for their musicians’ movement program, she helped pioneer the 2024 ConneXus Visual Ensemble and assisted with the organization’s back-to-back 2023 & 2024 WGI World Class Finalist appearances. She has also instructed a few seasons with groups such as Valhalla Winds, Rhythm X Winds, and Rhythm X.

She’s taught programs local to KY/OH including Allegoria Winterguard, Bellbrook, Centerville, Homage Winterguard, Kettering Fairmont, and Lafayette HS. Danielle currently has the pleasure of teaching both Springboro and Miamisburg HS Colorguards. Outside of “all things band”, she enjoys planting/gardening, spending time outdoors, finding new music, and a good fat nap.
