David is from Cincinnati, Ohio, where he got his start in the marching arts at Colerain High School. David marched baritone with the Blue Stars Drum and Bugle Corps from 2018-2021. Since aging out, he has worked with several marching bands and indoor programs in the Cincinnati area, currently working with the Forest Hills Marching Band.

David graduated from Miami University with a bachelor’s degree in Instrumental Music Education. David is currently the band director at New Miami Middle and High School. He is very excited to return to the Cap City team this season!
