Eric Anusewicz

Cymbal Technician

Eric is an educator, arts manager, designer, and composer from central Indiana. He has taught at Center Grove High School as a cymbal technician since 2022, eventually moving to a visual design role for the program. In addition to this primary ensemble, he has worked with numerous groups in southern and central Indiana as both a music and visual designer. This will be his first year on staff with Cap City.

Aside from the marching arts, Eric pursues his passion for music in a variety of ways. Currently, he is nearing completion on his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Composition from the Jacobs School of Music at Indiana University, and does freelance composition work for a variety of ensembles. In addition, he will also be graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Arts Management from the O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University, and will be working with the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra alongside the artistic planning and marketing teams for the 2025-26 season.

With a thorough background in the classical and academic, Eric strives to bring wellbeing and longevity to the marching arts and performing arts as a whole. He believes in deconstructing as many barriers as possible for everyone to enjoy the arts – including the performers and artists that create it. As such his teaching philosophy is simple: healthy people make incredible art, and incredible art makes healthy people.
