Jon is originally from Central Pennsylvania and currently works as a Quality Control Chemist for PPG in Pittsburgh. He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where he was a member of the IUP Marching Band and IUP Percussion Ensemble.

Jon marched with Nomad Indoor and Cap City Percussion and currently teaches with both groups. He previously served as a director at Homer-Center High School and continues to support marching arts programs throughout the Pittsburgh area
