Mark Foster has worked as a marching percussion educator and arranger since 2021. He attended Indiana University Bloomington, where he received dual bachelor's degrees in history and computer science. Mark currently attends Indiana University Indianapolis, and is pursuing a Master's of Library and Information Science.

He marched quads with the Indiana University Marching Hundred (2017-2020), Phantom Regiment (2020-2021), and Cap City Percussion (2021-2022). Mark has worked with a number of Indiana and Michigan high school band programs. He currently lives in the Detroit metropolitan area and works as a battery technician at Walled Lake High School. Mark has worked as a quad tech at Cap City (2024-present) and Music City Drum Corps (2025).
