Patrick O’Rourke is a lifelong musician and educator based in Middleburg, Virginia, and a graduate of the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, where he studied under Hall of Fame percussionists and world-renowned conductors. A versatile percussionist who has marched bass drum with Rhythm X, he won first place in the 2019 PASIC Collegiate Snare Solo Competition and has since directed award-winning percussion ensembles with a focus on growth, inclusion, and community. 

Patrick is the music teacher at The Hill School in Middleburg, VA. In 2026 he taught both Front Ensemble and Bass at the Madison Scouts. He's also served as lead audio engineer for the Madison Scouts and Troopers. He has a passion for the avant-garde, fancy pens, Reds baseball, and is regionally dominant in the sport of disc golf.
