Tanner is an active educator/private lesson instructor in Ohio. As a marching member Tanner spent his time with Cap City, RCC, Pioneer, and the Crossmen. Moving into an educator role, Tanner has taught at a few high schools/colleges in both Ohio and West Virginia. As well as spent a summer teaching with the Madison Scouts. 

Tanner currently resides in Dayton, OH working with Kettering Fairmont as the Battery Coordinator and entering his 10th year with Cap City this season
