Tim Martin grew up in Hilliard, Ohio where he graduated in 2009 from Hilliard Darby High School. He then went on to earn his undergraduate degree from Ohio University where he was a member of the Ohio University Marching 110, marching snare drum for 5 years. During that time, Tim performed with The Glassmen Drum and Bugle Corps from Toledo, Ohio in 2012 and Matrix World Indoor Drumline from Akron, Ohio in 2013 and 2014.

After graduating, Tim traveled back to Toledo to become the Band Director at St. John’s Jesuit for 6 years. During this time, he also served on the Ohio Indoor Performance Association (OIPA) Board of Directors in multiple capacities from 2016-2021 and was a staff member with Matrix Open Drumline, from Akron, Ohio in 2016 and 2017.

Since moving back to Columbus, Tim has served as the Director of Bands at Heath High School, Battery Coordinator at Central Crossing High School and currently works with the Worthington Kilbourne High School Marching Band in Columbus, Ohio.
